Shipping Information:

PT Motorsport Electrics is based in Ireland within the EU. All orders within the EU are subject to the Irish VAT Rate of 23% which is automatically applied at checkout. 

EU VAT registered businesses can purchase from us with VAT exemption. This is currently not supported at checkout. To place an order please contact us via email with order information, Company details including Name, Address, Contact information and EU VAT number and we will process an invoice manually.  

If you are ordering from outside of the EU there is no VAT applied at checkout. Please note you may be liable for Import Duties or Charges on goods being imported into your country

Incoterms:

We ship our products outside of the EU as Delivered at Place or DAP.

DELIVERED AT PLACE (DAP) means that the seller delivers the goods and transfers risk to the buyer when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer on the arriving means of transport ready for unloading at the named place of destination or at the agreed point within that place, if any such point is agreed.

Shipping Damage Disclaimer

We take great care in packaging your order securely for shipment. However, once your package leaves our premises, we are not responsible for any damage, loss, or delays that occur during shipping.

By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• All risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

• We do not accept responsibility for products damaged or lost during shipping.

• Any claims for damage or loss must be made directly with the shipping carrier.

• If you would like to protect your shipment, we strongly recommend purchasing optional shipping insurance at checkout.

Orders within Ireland:

We primarily use DPD or An Post for orders shipped within Ireland. This service is typically 1-2 days from time of pickup by courier. 

Typical shipping costs within Ireland are €12.50 + VAT. 

Orders within the EU:

We primarily use DHL or DPD for orders shipped within the EU. This service is typically 2-4 days from time of pickup by courier. 

Please note you may be liable for Import Duties/Charges and VAT on goods being imported to your country. 

Typical shipping costs within the EU are €80.  Please contact us prior to order for a custom shipping quote if required.

Orders within the UK (England, Wales and Scotland):

We primarily use DPD or DHL for orders shipped within the UK. This service is typically 2-3 days from time of pickup by courier. 

Please note you may be liable for Import Duties or Charges and UK VAT at 20% on goods being imported to your country. 

Typical shipping costs within the UK are €50. 

Orders outside the EU (Worldwide):

We primarily use DHL for orders shipped Worldwide. This service is typically 2-4 days from time of pickup by courier. 

Please note you may be liable for Import Duties/Charges and VAT on goods being imported to your country. 

Typical shipping costs worldwide are €80. Please contact us prior to order for a custom shipping quote if required.

Order within the United States of America:

Do you ship to the USA?

Yes, we ship to the USA and offer both standard and insured shipping options.

For customers in the USA, we strongly recommend selecting our insured shipping option, especially for high-value items. Over the years, we’ve experienced rare but unfortunate cases where packages have been lost or damaged in transit. To help protect your order, we offer insured shipping exclusively through DHL.

Please note: DHL insures shipments up to a maximum value of €2,000. We encourage customers with higher-value orders to contact us directly before purchasing so we can discuss the best shipping and insurance options available.

If you choose standard (non-insured) shipping, you accept full responsibility for any loss or damage once the parcel leaves our facility.

Important Notice Regarding U.S. Import Tariffs

Due to recent tariff policy changes enacted by the U.S. government, certain imported goods may be subject to additional duties or fees upon entry into the United States. As our products are shipped from Ireland, these tariffs may affect the final cost of your order. Please be aware that any customs duties, taxes, or additional import fees are the responsibility of the buyer and may be collected by U.S. Customs upon delivery. We recommend checking with your local customs office for the most up-to-date information
